What's on in March
Spring is on the horizon, and we’re excited to enjoy Bristol in full bloom! And after the last two Springs being restricted, we can’t wait to see what Bristol has to offer this year. Take a look at what fun events and activities are in Bristol this March.
Out and about
If you’re looking to get out and try something new to really make the most of your time in Bristol, then we have a few ideas for you.
The Bristol Light festival is back this March 1st – 6th in the city centre and promises to fill Bristol with light and colour. It features 14 captivating artworks, all of which will be making their first appearance in Bristol. This is free and open to all, so there's no reason not to go! Make sure to hashtag #BristolLightFestival when sharing any pics of your experience on socials!
The Extraordinary Magic Malka at the Cloak and Dagger will be the talk of the town for any magic enthusiast. With a selection of amazing tricks, live music and a tasty food menu, this is a top pick activity and bound to be enjoyed by anyone. Tickets and more info are available on the Headfirst website.
For anyone visiting Bristol with the kids and looking to keep them entertained while exploring their creative side, head on over to Flax Bourton Church for their Children's Art Course, every Tuesday in March, 4:30pm – 5:45pm.
Eating Out
Bristol is full of independent restaurants and bars for you to grab a tasty bite to eat. If you are looking for something simple but delicious for a family outing or catch up with friends, then why not head on over to Racks Bar and Kitchen for their new Brunch. Available Monday – Saturday 10am – 2pm. Make sure to head over to their website to book to avoid disappointment!
Calling all cheese lovers! This March, Fever brings you their new Bristol Cheese Crawl, where Bristol's finest cheeses are being wrapped up into one 2-hour walking tour! So if indulging in cheese while touring the city and washing it down with a nice cider sounds like your thing, then you feta head on over to Fever to book your tickets!
For those of you looking for something with a bit more attitude, then check out Bambalan’s ‘Drag Queen Brunch'. Hosted by international drag artist Alyssa van Delle, this cabaret Brunch will definitely be one to remember. Tickets are available on their website.
Drinks
Enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful view of the Clifton Suspension bridge. This March, Red & White, Bristol Wine Merchants return to the Clifton Observatory for their Spring Wine Tasting. The tasting includes thirty award-winning wines and endless canapés by Littleshop & Pantry. The event is taking place Thursday 10th March. For tickets, head on over to Eventbrite.
The first rule of Whiskey Fight Club is that we do talk about it! Starting with Highland Park, this March 14th will be the first of three tasting sessions. Guests will have the chance to sample some of last year's Whiskey Fight Club’s winners’ Whisky while hearing from whiskey specialist Joe Ellis. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.
