Bristol Food Challenges
Bristol’s Best Food Challenges
Whether you're in the city for a mini-break or here for work, there’s always time to tuck into some tasty food challenges that will make this a Bristol visit to remember. We’ve done some research and some of our favourites, but if you have any to add, let us know via Facebook, Twitter or Tiktok.
The BARE Grills
The BARE grills food challenge isn’t one for the faint-hearted and is guaranteed to have any meat lover drooling at the thought of it alone. This weekend has just seen a newly crowned champion for the BARE grills food challenge, where to win, you must finish off every plate of food which consists of:
Bare Grill Burger
Full rack of ribs
Smoked Brisket
Pulled Pork
Chicken Wings
Smoked Sausage
Dirty Bacon Fries
House Slaw
Onion Rings
Corn on the Cob
If you eat it all, you get it for free … If not, pay the total of £45. Become the next reigning champion if you beat the current champion's time of 51 minutes! Visit their Facebook page or website for more info.
Mission Burrito
Do you love all things Mexican and are never quite fully satisfied after that sharer sized nachos or extra-large burrito? Well never fear, El Criminal is here – Mission’s notorious burrito. Take on the 5lb burrito, which lays upon a bed of nachos, for your chance to win your own Missions Burrito challenge t-shirt, and have your name and time added to the roll of fame!
The Burrito:
Three meats, rice, beans, pico de gallo, lettuce and cheese; smothered like only a criminal would with sour cream and salsas ranging from mild to very hot! Served on a bed of nacho chips.
For £25, there is no time limit, but make sure to read their instruction on the Mission Burrito website for a full understanding of the challenge.
The Hobgoblin
No matter what you go into the Hobgoblin for, you’re bound to enjoy it. With screens for sports, a great selection of drinks, and nachos to die for – it’s a great place to hang out. So does their food challenge stand up to their already high standards?
Although they are currently known for their Death Wings challenge, where all you have to do is finish off 7 of their deadly spiced chicken wings to be crowned champion and added to their wall of heroes! They have closed this challenge to mull over some new challenge options - So make sure to keep an eye out for any updates on their Facebook page.
