Bristol’s German Christmas Market
So it’s nearly time, Bristol’s German Christmas Market will be opening on the 6th November all set to get in you the festive mood. There will be 38 decorated chalets offering everything from Christmas gifts and decorations to traditional German food and drink. It’s top of our list of things to do this month and we are particularly looking forward to a drink in the Bavarian style beer garden.
At- Bristol’s Christmas Ice Rink In Millennium Square
Get into the festive spirit and test out your skating skills from the 7th when At-Bristol opens their Christmas Ice rink. Whether you are a pro skater or a bit of an amateur like us it’s a must at Christmas time!
The Hunt – an evening with Alastair Fothergill and Huw Cordley
So I’m sure you’ll know what we are talking about when we mention The Hunt. The brand new much anticipated BBC documentary narrated by the nations favorite David Attenborough. To celebrate the start of the series and their new book ‘The Hunt’ producers Alistair Fothergill and Huw Cordley will be holding a talk on the 10th at Stanfords. Find out all about the behind the scenes action and their first hand experiences with some of the worlds biggest predators.
The Festival of Light at Longleat
From the 13th November until the 3rd January The Festival of Light will be held at Longleat. For this time the Wiltshire estate is turned into a magical, glowing spectacle made up of hundreds of illuminated designs. Perfect for a dark winter evening, wrap up warm and go and be mesmerized.
Mary Poppins at Bristol Hippodrome
Everyone’s favourite childhood film has been adapted for the stage and will be showing at the Hippodrome until the 28th November. This is one for both the kids and the grown ups as with songs like Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious everyone will be singing along. Get your tickets now.
