July in Bristol
As any Bristolian will know, Bristol comes into it’s own in the Summer months. There is something addictive about the brightly coloured graffiti and the glistening waterfront that makes Bristol the place to be when the sun is out. So in honour of that we have found you the best outdoor activities for a July in Bristol.
Pride Parade 8th July (Donations!)
We’re proud of our pride! And the very best part of it is the massive procession of rainbow clad people marching through the city centre. Join in on the celebrations and end up in the Bristol Amphitheatre and At-Bristol’s Millennium Square to be dazzled by the plethora of great stage acts.
Dinema Screening- Wayne’s World 16th July (£14.95 a ticket)
WARNING: This is not your typical drive in, this is much, MUCH better! Outdoors cinema has had a resurgence and reimagining in recent years with groups like Sunset Cinema and Cult Screens showing films outside. This screening at Bristol Memorial Stadium promises to deliver not only a classic cinema but also a delectable dining experience. (Get it? DINEma!)
Folksy Theatre: Twelfth Night (£14.50 full price)
The Shakespeare Festival has been running since 2003 and yearly brings Bristol a fresh take on the Bard and his plays! We’ve chosen this particular (twelfth) night as it takes place in the incredible setting of Boiling Wells Amphitheatre in St Werburghs. A majestic outside setting fit for a king (or a Sea Captain.)
Comic Con Run 31st July (£19.50 a ticket)
Be a hero for the day! Comic Cons are a great chance to be a super hero or super villian for the day and this event means you get to do that whilst being in Bristol's glorious sunshine. Don your very best spiderman outfit and pop on some super comfy trainers because this is a great one to get together, get outside and get RUNNING! (Please remember- you must register for this event.)
