July in Bristol
July is here and we can guarantee that it is going to be a good one! There is so much going on this month we struggled to pick the best things to tell you lovely lot about…but we powered through and picked out our favourites so we hope you like them!
The next big event of the month is NASS Festival from 8th-10th July. You should have just about recovered from Glastonbury now so head down to Royal Bath and West Showground for round two. Three jam-packed days of music and adrenaline inducing action sports are exactly what the doctor ordered to banish those Glasto blues. Our highlights include Jurassic 5 and Modestep, see you there!
Get your tickets here.
Not quite had your fill of music for the month? We haven’t…that’s why from the 15th – 17th we’ll be heading on down to Colston Hall to treat our ears to a little something special. Whether it’s blues, folk, country or even bluegrass that you fancy, the Americana weekend has it all. Grab that checked shirt and cowboy boots; we know we have a pair, and join us for a dance!
So if all the music is a bit too much for you, we do have an alternative. Bristol Book Fair runs the 15th and 16th at the Passenger Shed and gives you the opportunity to explore a whole world of rare and vintage books. If like us you just love that old book smell then come on down and get stuck in.

End the month with The Other Art Fair. The 12th UK edition will be held at Bristol’s iconic Arnolfini and is the place to find the best new emerging artistic talent. There will be a whole range of hand picked works by 80 contemporary artists on offer for you to enjoy and perhaps purchase. Meet the artists themselves, find out what inspires them and get inspired too. We can’t wait for this one so get it in your diary!
We end the month with a little blast from the past. How could you forget ‘Gromit Unleashed’ which captured the hearts of Bristol in 2013 with 80 giant sculptures of the well known pooch spread across the city. They have quickly become collectables and a selected 18 will be back for a special exhibition at the Grand Appeal shop in The Mall. If you missed them the first time round then you have six weeks from the 25th to go and check them out. We promise you won’t be disappointed!
