Share a Smile at The Harbourside Christmas Market
The Harbourside Christmas Market kicks off on the 28th November and will be on every Saturday and Sunday in the run up to Christmas. This will be a great opportunity to shop at independent market stalls. Also expect live music, drinks, entertainment, live art and special guests.
Visitors to the market are also being encouraged to get into the true spirit of Christmas and visit the Angel Tree in Anchor Square. The Christmas tree will be covered in gift tags, each of which contains information on an individual in Bristol who needs your help this year. This beautiful initiative encourages guests to pick a tag from the Christmas tree and purchase a gift for that person from the market and leave it under the tree for them.
Wildlife photographer of the Year at the M Shed
This year the world-renowned exhibition from the Natural History Museum returns to Bristol. The M Shed will host 100 astounding images of the most prestigious photography. Go along to experience breathtaking natural sights and photographs from around the globe.
Craft Beer Festival at the Spiegeltent
On 5th December the Spiegeltent will host a craft beer festival. Tickets can be purchased in advance and the price includes 3 free beer samples, a festival glass, ping-pong, beer talks, brew demos, music and access to food and market stalls. A true celebration of beer, this is one not to be missed!
A Victorian Christmas at Tyntesfield
Tyntesfield is located just outside of Bristol and is a truly stunning piece of architecture that’s just as beautiful at Christmas time. This year Tyntesfield are offering a fab family day out, come along to experience a true Victorian Christmas. Immerse yourself in the history and experience Christmas as the Victorians would have done in the Gibbs family home.
Electric Swing Circus & The Inexplicables at the Lanes
On 11th December the Lanes is host to SWING ‘N’ TINGZ with Electric Swing Circus and the Inexplicables. A mix of 20’s swing with electro beats and an explosive sound system, this will be a mashup of all tingz Swing, expect decadent décor, live performers and a true festival vibe.
