Christmas shopping in Bristol on a budget
If one thing can be guaranteed over Christmas, it’s that our pennies soon vanish while gift shopping for our nearest and dearests! But to give our wallets a break this year, we’ve put together some of the best places to visit in Bristol for budget Christmas shopping. Take a look at our guide to Christmas shopping on a budget in Bristol.

The Flying Tiger
For inexpensive knick-knacks and stocking fillers, head over to the Flying Tiger Copenhagen at Cribbs Causeway or Cabot Circus. With everything from Christmas baubles to mirrors and cake slicers, they have something small and perfect for all those special people in your life. Pick some items up with prices ranging from £1 - £25.
Bristol Etsy shop
The Bristol Etsy Shop is back this December in form of a pop-up shop in The Galleries and some items available in Bristol Cathedral’s shop. They have plenty to offer from local artists if you’re shopping on a budget. With many gifts priced at £25 or under, you’ll have plenty to choose from, ranging from jewellery and clothing to art prints and beauty products. Open all the way up until 24th December, it’s also perfect for those late present buyers!
Gift Fair
For the last time this year, you can pop down to the Gift Fair this weekend Saturday 11th December and Sunday 12th December to peruse the handmade gifts from up to 200 designer-makers based in and around Bristol. This is a great way to support local creatives and gift something really unique this winter. Open from 10am, make sure to check out what they have available before they pack up for the year. For more info, take a look at their website.
St Nicholas Markets
With over 60 independent businesses and traders to choose from, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect gift here. Whether you’re looking for something spicy from The Hot Sauce Emporium or something shiny from A & P Jewellery, St Nick’s Market has it all! Take a stroll around the market and enjoy some street food along the way or check out their outdoor Christmas market, open until Christmas Eve. See what they have to offer here.
Gloucester Road
If you’re looking for something a bit more giving this festive season, why not take a trip down Gloucester Road for its many Charity shops which are great for picking up pre-loved gifts and ideal for budget shopping. Or venture into some of its independent stores such as Paper Planes for handmade jewellery and ethical clothing, Room 212 for original art and prints from local artists, Iota for eco-friendly homeware and local maker’s jewellery, Reason Interiors for accessories and decor and Main Interiors for luxe home furnishings.
